Kate Beckinsale clapped back at haters who criticized her for not looking “age appropriate” by resharing photos of herself dressed up as an old man.
The “Underworld” star posted six pictures and videos via Instagram early Wednesday from when she went as billionaire J. Howard Marshall for Halloween in October 2023.
“New deal. This is all you’re getting . Hope it is less triggering and more what you consider age appropriate. Sayonara bitches,” she captioned one snap of herself sitting in a wheelchair while holding a white cat.

Beckinsale, 50, also included photos from a shoot with a friend who dressed up as Anna Nicole Smith to recreate the couple’s 1994 wedding.
The actress wore an all-white suit with a boutonniere and jazzed it up with chunky white platform heels, while her friend mimicked Smith’s dress with puffy shoulders.
Beckinsale turned off the comments section on all six Instagram posts to avoid getting more backlash.
The “Whiteout” star shared the snaps after admitting she has “severe anxiety” about aging in a since-deleted Instagram post.
“I hate talking about this because I hate adding to this conversation but I’m doing it because insidious bullying of any kind over time takes a toll,” she wrote Sunday.
“Every time I post anything — and by the way, this has been the case since I was about 30 — I am accused of having had unrecognizable surgery/using Botox using fillers/being obsessed with looking younger.”
Beckinsale said the comments have gotten “tiresome” and described them as a “subtly vicious way to bully a person.”
“Obviously I have aged, everybody ages; I’m not too concerned about aging-because I found my father dead at the age of 5,” she said of actor Richard Beckinsale, who died of a heart attack in 1979 at age 31.
Kate concluded her post by urging social media bullies to “please stop now.”
The “Click” star shared the message less than a month after returning home from a hospital stay for a mystery illness.
She began sharing photos of herself in a hospital bed on March 11 and continued posting various pictures from her time there, but she deleted all of them by mid-April.
Kate has yet to address what caused her health scare, though she suggested she had “tummy troubles.”
