Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s relationship has taken a turn for the worse — despite their efforts to co-parent their children following their split.
Both the “Beverly Hills, 90210” star and the former “Chopped Canada” host have begun dating other people, but her new romance reportedly isn’t sitting well with her estranged husband.
“He thinks Tori’s doing this for attention,” an insider told Us Weekly Thursday.
“They’re on fairly icy terms right now but trying to stay cordial.”
Reps for the former couple didn’t immediately return Pvnew’s requests for comment.
Photos obtained by Pvnew last week showed Spelling, 50, making out with ad executive Ryan Cramer following a dinner at Level 8 in Los Angeles.
The steamy sighting came after McDermott, 56, made his relationship with Lily Calo public knowledge.
“Tori met Ryan through work several months ago, and she thought he was very charming and handsome,” a source told the magazine.
“Tori is really excited about the new relationship, and it doesn’t bother her that people say he looks a lot like Dean.”
The “True Tori” alum made it known her budding romance with Cramer may be taking a hot and heavy turn when she was photographed shopping for lingerie earlier this month.
Spelling was seen browsing through racy undergarments at Victoria’s Secret and took a closer look at a gold lacy one-piece. She ended up walking away with some goodies, though it’s unclear which pieces she selected.
McDermott, meanwhile, was first seen with Calo while he visited a welfare office in mid-October. It’s unclear when he and the Conscious Community Global account executive began dating, but the pair were photographed with a few others while working on a project together just a couple of weeks before his appointment with the government.
The “Due South” alum announced in June that he and Spelling were separating after 17 years of marriage.
“It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own,” he wrote in a since-deleted post on Instagram.
“We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time.”
Despite the stunning announcement, neither McDermott nor Spelling officially has submitted legal paperwork to start a divorce.
A source later told People that McDermott’s announcement came “out of the blue.”
“If this had happened a year ago, it would’ve been expected because things were terrible between them,” the source shared.
“Sure, they still had their disagreements and didn’t always see eye to eye, but the past six months things had felt good between them.”
