Naomi Watts isn’t ready to set the record straight on rumors she’s engaged to Billy Crudup.
When the actress appeared on the “Today” show Thursday with a massive sparkler on her left ring finger, she played coy about her relationship status.
Hoda Kotb called out the 54-year-old’s statement jewelry during their interview about menopause, saying her “eye was hurting” from its sparkle.
“It’s like a big glint coming from some ring over here,” the journalist, 58, joked. “It just struck me, but it’s beautiful.”
When Watts only laughed, Kotb’s co-host, Savannah Guthrie, chimed in, “Hoda is asking if you’re engaged.”
The “Twin Peaks” alum avoided answering, jokingly blaming her “brain fog.”
Kotb didn’t push Watts any further, replying, “Whatever you’re wearing, you wear it beautifully.”
Since Watts’ ring first made headlines earlier this month, she and Crudup, 54, have yet to address rumors of their engagement.
Watts and the “Morning Show” star started dating in 2017, one year after she split from her longtime boyfriend Liev Schrieber.
The former couple were together for 11 years and welcomed two children — Sasha, 15, and Kai, 14 — before calling it quits.
Schreiber is now reportedly expecting baby No. 3 with his model girlfriend, Taylor Neisen.
Crudup, for his part, is best known for dating Mary-Louise Parker from 1996 to 2003, leaving the “Weeds” alum at seven months pregnant for Claire Danes.
He and his “Stage Beauty” co-star split in 2006.
Watts and Crudup have remained private about their romance since meeting on the “Gypsy” set in 2017.
The pair waited until the 2022 SAG Awards to make their red carpet debut.
This Valentine’s Day, Watts kept her Instagram tribute to her partner short and sweet, calling Crudup her “darling” in a selfie.
