Rumer Willis’ breastfeeding journey is still going strong 16 months in.
The 35-year-old rounded up sweet shots of her daughter, Louetta, nursing to celebrate World Breastfeeding Week via Instagram Monday.
“Breastfeeding has been one of the most joyful and bonding experiences of my life with Lou, who is still nursing at 16 months,” she captioned the carousel.

“This journey has been filled with ease and grace, and I feel incredibly privileged because I know this isn’t the case for everyone,” Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s eldest child continued.
Rumer urged parents to advocate for “necessary support and care” for breastfeeding, calling the practice “more than just nourishment.”
The actress gushed, “It’s a gift of health and bonding that every mother should have the opportunity to give.”
As for when she and the toddler plan to stop, Rumer wrote, “I don’t know when … but I am sure we will figure it out together.”
The social media slideshow included photos of Louetta nursing recently, as well as throwback photos from her early days.
Moore, 61, praised the “stunning” snaps.
The “Ghost” star was present when Rumer and her partner, Derek Richard Thomas, welcomed their baby girl in an April 2023 home birth.
The new mom has since clapped back at critics of her frequent nursing snaps.
She called them “incredibly important to share” to combat the “shame that comes with being born into a female body” in an August 2023 Instagram comment.
In May of the following year, she explained why the photos weren’t a “big deal” to her.
“I didn’t grow up in a house where we had shame about being naked, ever,” Rumer recalled in a People interview. I didn’t think I was posting that crazy of things even for me — I know I can be a little escándalo.”
She concluded that breastfeeding is “not sexual unless you’re making it that way.”
