Kanye West’s former chief of staff shared text messages purportedly showing the rapper asking his dentist for nitrous gas.
Milo Yiannopoulos posted a screenshot on his X account Tuesday of the group conversation among him, West and Dr. Thomas Connelly in an effort to prove that the Yeezy founder had developed an addiction to nitrous oxide, which is more commonly known as laughing gas.
“PROOF: Thomas Connelly agrees to deliver recreational nitrous oxide to his heavily addicted patient Ye at the latter’s then-residence, Chateau Marmont—the site of dozens of celebrity overdoses and suicides,” Yiannopoulos, 39, wrote alongside the image.

In the texts, the dentist responsible for West’s $850,000 titanium teeth appears to write, “This needs to be a long term goal: get recreational Nitrous legalized. Meanwhile we master the delivery system with a 2 year head start.”
Yiannopoulos, however, vehemently denies Connelly’s alleged desires, responding to the message, “Surely you are joking. Prolonged misuse of nitrous causes birth defects. Problems with B12. Your spinal cord disintegrates. Why would anyone want to introduce another drug to an already depressed, addicted, demoralized and apathetic population of dopamine slaves.”
West, 47, appears unfazed by Yiannopoulos’ warning and purportedly asks the dentist directly, “Can I have the Nitrus [sic] today. Tom. You said you’d bring them by today. Checking in.”
Connelly allegedly then tells West, “Yes. Can do” after confirming the “All of the Lights” rapper was at the Chateau Marmont.
Reps for West and Connelly did not immediately return Pvnew’s requests for comment.
Yiannopoulos claimed online last week that the dentist had gotten West addicted to nitrous gas in an effort to “diminish Ye’s mental faculties so that Connelly and his business associates could extract millions of dollars from him.”
The far-right political commentator further claimed he “uncovered the fraud” and “intervened,” which upset the “Jesus Walks” performer and led to Yiannopoulos’ exit from Yeezy earlier this year.
Yiannopoulos, who had worked for West since 2022, confirmed he filed a complaint against Connelly with the California Dental Board, claiming he is “a dangerous predator who targets African-American celebrities.”
He posted the legal affidavit, which alleged the dentist charged West $50,000 per month to supply nitrous gas for recreational use.
A rep for Connelly denied the allegations to TMZ Wednesday, saying Yiannopoulos’ X post was “not only factually incorrect but also intentionally misleading.”
The rep also accused Yiannopoulos of making false statements to gain attention and damage Connelly’s reputation.
