Shannen Doherty settled her divorce from estranged husband Kurt Iswarienko just one day before she died.
Court documents obtained by Pvnew on Monday show that the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum agreed to waive spousal support and to a “default or uncontested dissolution” of their marriage, which indicates the former couple settled their split outside of court.
While Doherty signed the agreement on Friday, July 12, the photographer signed the document on Saturday, July 13 — the day the former “Charmed” star lost her years-long battle with breast cancer at age 53.

“It is the mutual wish and desire of the parties to effect a full, complete, and final settlement of all their respective property interests, future and present, by this Judgment, and … completely resolve any and all issues relating to division of property, reimbursement claims and/or credits, spousal support, and attorneys’ fees and costs,” the documents state.
The former pair’s attorneys each submitted the paperwork first thing Monday morning.
Doherty’s longtime publicist, Leslie Sloane, announced the actress had died surrounded by those closest to her.
“The devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend was surrounded by her loved ones as well as her dog, Bowie,” she told People. “The family asks for their privacy at this time so they can grieve in peace.”
Shortly after Doherty passed away, her friend Tara Furiani called out Iswarienko, 50, for his lack of “humanity” during his and the actress’ bitter divorce battle, which began in April 2023, claiming he was “dragging his feet” so he wouldn’t have to pay her.
“Life is so hard… life is extra hard with cancer and without the support you thought you’d have,” Furiani shared. “If you have the opportunity to be a decent person, take it. You have no idea what people are dealing with and going through.”
The “Heathers” actress claimed in legal documents last month that Iswarienko “hopes that I die before he is required to pay me while he continues to live his life and shirk his responsibilities to his dying wife of more than 11 years.”
A lawyer for Iswarienko rejected her claims, alleging Iswarienko wanted to finalize the divorce in September 2023 with a settlement deal, which she denied because he “skirted around” how much he earned in the early aughts of their marriage.
Doherty and Iswarienko married in October 2011 in Malibu, Calif., but the “Little House on the Prairie” star divorced him in light of his infidelity.
