Courteney Cox celebrated her daughter Coco Arquette’s 20th birthday Thursday with a sweet message about their close bond.
“Happy birthday to my beautiful, sweet, kind, sensitive and creative Coco,” the “Friends” star, 59, wrote on Instagram along with several photos with her only child.
“You never cease to make me laugh,” she continued. “I love you sooooo much co to the lo.”

In one selfie, Cox and Arquette smiled on a beach as the ocean breeze whipped their hair around.
The actress also included some adorable throwback images of her daughter, who was seen playing with a sand bucket on a beach as a young child and making a silly face while wearing fake eyebrows.
Another photo showed Arquette relaxing on a pillow with cucumber slices over her eyes.
Several of Cox’s fans flooded the comments section to help celebrate her daughter’s milestone birthday.
“Oh sweet Coco, Happy Happy Happy Birthday!!! I hope it’s the best one yet!!!” one fan wrote.
“Happy Birthday Coco – have the best day celebrating,” a netizen commented.
“What an extraordinary mom you are to have raised this one of a kind incredible being that we are all so so lucky to know! Thank you!!” a third supporter gushed.
The mother-daughter duo is extremely close and even got matching tattoos in January 2023.
Cox has managed to keep her daughter relatively out of the spotlight over the years, though Arquette did make a rare red carpet appearance at her mom’s “Scream VI” premiere in March 2023 and her mom’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony a month prior.
The “Cougar Town” alum shares her daughter with her ex-husband, David Arquette, to whom she was married from 1999 to 2013.
Since their divorce, the exes have remained on good terms as they continue to co-parent.
“We’ve communicated a lot because of Coco,” David, 52, told Yahoo! Entertainment in August 2020. “We’ve been really open and supportive of each other.”
He added, “We never went head-to-head [or] battled each other through the process of divorce and through the process of raising our kid, so it’s made for a … relationship that is out of respect.”
The actor married journalist Christina McLarty in 2015, and they share two sons: Charlie, 10, and Augustus, 7.
Meanwhile, Cox has been in a relationship with Johnny McDaid since 2013.
