She’s the G.O.A.T. and knows it.
After winning the all-around final at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Thursday — her second gold of the Games — Simone Biles proudly showed off her bedazzled goat necklace for all to see.
In video captured by broadcast cameras, the 27-year-old gymnast can be seen beaming with excitement as she held the sparkling silver goat charm around her neck closer to the eager cameras.
The charm was designed by Janet Heller Fine Jewelry and features 546 diamonds on the goat’s body.

According to the designer, Biles commissioned the piece herself. It represents her “dedication, perseverance, and the spirit that has inspired generations.”
Of course, Biles is often referred to as the G.O.A.T. (meaning Greatest of All Time) in women’s gymnastics — having led Team USA to two team final gold medals in two out of the last three Olympics she’s competed in.
Biles’ all-around final win Thursday marked her ninth Olympic medal, with four of them being gold. She became the most decorated U.S. gymnast of all time with the team victory on Tuesday.
In addition to holding nine Olympic medals, Biles also has 30 World Championship medals to her name.
The Paris Olympics wasn’t the first time the Olympian leaned into her G.O.A.T. status.
She previously wore a leotard with a sparkling goat embellishment in 2021 at the US Gymnastics Championships. She stuck true to the nickname by earning her seventh women’s all-around title at the event.
She told Marie Claire at the time that the point of the goat was to “hit back at the haters.”
“[The haters] were joking like, ‘I swear, if she put a goat on her leo, blah, blah, blah.’ That would make them so angry. And then I was like, ‘Oh, that’s actually a good idea. Let’s make the haters hate it, and the fans love it.’ And so that’s exactly what we did and why we did it,” she explained.
Biles knows a thing or two about haters.
She even dubbed this year’s Olympics as her “redemption tour” after she withdrew from the team competition in Tokyo in 2020 to focus on her mental health.
The move encouraged haters to wreak havoc on Biles, with many openly waiting for her to choke at this year’s competition.
Even Biles’ former teammate MyKayla Skinner critiqued her teammates — Suni Lee, Hezly Rivera, Jade Carey and Jordan Chiles — recently by claiming they “don’t have the work ethic” to win.
After their first-place finish, though, Biles seemingly fired back at Skinner by captioning her celebratory Instagram post, “lack of talent, lazy, olympic champions ❤️
