Huma Abedin’s going with the classics.
As Page Six exclusively reported earlier this week, Hillary Clinton’s former aide is engaged to billionaire Alex Soros, who popped the question with a truly jaw-dropping diamond ring.
Abedin, 47, flashed her fresh bling Wednesday while grabbing dinner with pal Anna Wintour, and experts tell Page Six Style the impressive sparkler could easily be worth six figures.

Mike Fried of The Diamond Pro estimates the center stone’s size at around 12 carats.
“Finding a beautiful diamond of that size is incredibly rare. I imagine the ring was custom-designed and cost an estimated $1.3 million, but possibly more, depending on the quality of the stone,” he said.
“The ring is a perfect balance of modern and classic — giving Huma a timeless ring that suits her style.”
Ajay Anand, CEO of Rare Carat, puts the ring’s size at closer to 9 carats, telling us it’s “a classic look that’s the perfect complement to Huma’s personal style. Nothing but the absolute best for a Soros, Alex likely spent over $1 million on this stunner.”
Olivia Landau, founder and CEO of The Clear Cut, estimates the stunning rock’s value at around $500,000.
Abedin wore an orange Me + Em midi dress and elegant tan pumps with a matching Hermès Birkin bag for her night out with Wintour on the Upper West Side.
She and Soros, 38 — who first publicized their relationship on Valentine’s Day this year and made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala in May — confirmed their engagement with a joint post on Instagram.
“this happened…we couldn’t be happier, more grateful, or more in love ❤️
