Andy Cohen is walking back “Real Housewives of New Jersey” reboot rumors — after starting the speculation himself.
The Bravo executive attempted to clarify his viral comments about potentially replacing the cast with “all fresh faces” during Wednesday’s episode of his SiriusXM show.
“I was just riffing,” the Radio Andy host, 56, said. “We are going to reimagine the show in some way, and I was just like, ‘Yeah, we’re rebooting. … Who knows? Maybe it’ll be all fresh faces.’ And that was just me kind of in the mood.”

Andy Cohen agrees there should be a ‘RHONJ’ ‘rebrand’: ‘We’re going to figure something out’
Cohen expressed his horror at the possibility of being “printed everywhere as though it was something [he has] not said on this broadcast 85 times.”
Not only did he claim it was “not new news,” but he added, “I was … not definitively saying it’s going to be all fresh faces.”
Social media users called Cohen “messy” after his clarification that “nothing has been decided.”
One told the “Watch What Happens Live” host to “pack it up [and] shut it down” because they’re “tired” of the back and forth.
Cohen’s comments about making “big changes” to the reality show and doing “something different” for its 15th season come after rampant speculation surrounding the series.
Earlier this month, Cohen assured a listener requesting a “rebrand” that he was “gonna figure something out.”
As the cast currently stands, Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Jennifer Aydin, Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania, Danielle Cabral and Rachel Fuda all star in it along with “friends” Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler.
Cohen called the options for shaking up the show “fun” in June.
“I think there are several different ways we can go with it,” he gushed to E! News last month. “We get to figure it out as a team and see what we do.”
Notably, the Season 14 reunion, which has yet to air, was not filmed in a “traditional” manner, with cast members instead separated into two groups.
Gorga, who is estranged from Giudice and does not film with her sister-in-law, told Pvnew last week that she is “excited” for “some type of change.”
Meanwhile, Giudice shared on Kelly Ripa’s “Let’s Talk Off Camera” podcast Wednesday that she wants to remain, quipping, “Bravo, I hope you’re listening.”
