Bill Maher speculated that Travis Kelce will break up with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, when she least expects it.
“He’s gonna dump her, though, you know that,” he told “Hawk Tuah Girl” Haley Welch on Monday’s episode of his “Club Random” podcast.
“With her, it’s like the Gatorade at the Super Bowl, you know you’re gonna get dumped. You just don’t know when.”

Welch, a longtime fan of the 14-time Grammy winner, 34, optimistically considered the possibility.
“You gotta think about it this way,” the 21-year-old explained. “If he does that, can you imagine the next album we’re gonna get off of that?”
“It won’t be ‘F–k John Mayer’ no more, it will be ‘F–k Travis,'” she continued, referencing Swift’s infamous two-month romance with John Mayer in 2009 that led to the pop star’s top breakup hit “Dear John.”
Maher, 68, then slammed the “Cruel Summer” songstress as “very tacky” for continuing to write and sing songs about her exes.
“It does seem like such a recurrent theme,” the comedian continued. “At some point, you just wanna say, ‘Maybe you should write a song called “Maybe It’s Me.”‘”
Elsewhere in the episode, Maher heavily criticized Swift for attending Kansas City Chiefs games in support of Kelce while dolled up in Chiefs red.
“I’m sure she’s a lovely person, but the whole thing with the football player,” he added. “I just felt like 35 was a little old to be like, ‘My boyfriend’s a football player and I wear his jersey to the game with his number on it!’ I mean, come on.”
Welch came to the “Lover” singer’s defense, saying, “Whatever makes her happy. If that’s what she wants to do and it makes her happy, it ain’t got nothin’ to do with me.”
In September 2023, Swift famously made her debut at a Chiefs game after secretly dating Kelce, 34, since July of that year.
From there on out, she attended several matches alongside her new BFF Brittany Mahomes and Kelce family matriarch Donna Kelce.
Travis and the hitmaker’s relationship later flourished off the field as they jetted away together on several luxury vacations.
In recent months, the NFL star has also shown his support for Swift at many of her Eras Tour stops in Europe.
Sources previously told Pvnew that the couple has plans to get engaged this summer.
