Hoda Kotb handled a slight wardrobe malfunction like a champion while she worked the 2024 Paris Olympics on Tuesday.
The “Today” show co-host was wearing a yellow dress with a slit up the front of it and a matching belt wrapped around the waist while working the morning show.

However, Kotb, 59, needed some help with the number after the side below one of her straps had split open.
The “Hope Is A Rainbow” author enlisted the help of talent associate producer Kaitlin Vickery, who held the broken ends of the dress together and used a stapler to temporarily close the gap.
“Done!” Kotb said while giving a high five to Vickery in the Instagram video. “Kaitlin to the rescue!”
Kotb poked fun at herself for the quick fix and added in the caption, “nothing that a stapler cant [sic] fix!”
The mom of two wore the number for the first two hours of the “Today” show before she swapped into more patriotic gear that included a blue sweater with an American flag on it to watch the women’s gymnastics team compete, and later take home a gold medal.
Kotb and her co-anchors Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Craig Melvin are all hosting the “Today” show while also getting involved in a slew of Olympic activities in Paris over the next two weeks.
The “Today With Hoda and Jenna” co-host is no stranger to her fair share of wardrobe mishaps over the years.
Most recently, Kotb’s co-host, Jenna Bush Hager, encouraged her to take off her bra after it kept peeking out of her red dress mid-broadcast earlier this month.
“You know when you’re like, ‘Everything’s hanging out. It’s not right.’ But you know what, I just decided I’m going to do it,” Kotb explained.
Bush Hager suggested that she should “just take [her] bra off” and “free [her] boobs” and even went on to offer to “take [her] bra off for [her].”
“Free your boobs, Hoda! It’s time. At this point in your life, when you’re almost 60, free your boobs! Let’s free them because if you took your bra off then you wouldn’t have a problem!” Bush Hager proclaimed.
In February, Kotb interrupted the show to futz with her eye and ask for help getting two contacts out.
“I think I have a contact stuck in my eye way up here. I don’t think I took it out last night, and I can’t find it. Well, it feels like it’s in there. I’m not kidding! I was gonna go to the eye doctor, but I didn’t have time,” Kotb said at the time.
