Who are Kai’s parents?
In May 2007, Trump Jr. and his then-wife, Vanessa Trump (née Pergolizzi), welcomed Kai, two years after the couple’s Mar-a-Lago wedding.
The businessman and the former model broke up in 2018 and finalized their divorce the following year.
Trump Jr. moved on with Kimberly Guilfoyle shortly after his and Vanessa’s split made headlines.
He proposed to the Fox News anchor in December 2020.
The former “Apprentice” judge gushed over his eldest child when she turned 17 in May 2024, calling her tied with Chloe for the “most beautiful, smart, amazing young” woman ever.
“I am obviously very objective in this assessment,” he joked via Instagram. “Kai you make me proud every day and are kicking ass in life. I love you so much.”

In her brief address, Kai spoke about “the side of [her] grandpa that people don’t often see.”
She joked that Trump gives her “candy and soda when [her] parents aren’t looking,” asks how she’s “doing in school” and brags about her grades to his friends.
“Even when he’s going through all these court cases, he always asks me how I’m doing,” she continued.
“He always encourages me to push myself to be the most successful person I can be. Obviously, he sets the bar pretty high. But who knows, maybe one day I’ll catch him.”
Kai concluded by sharing her “shocked” reaction to the “heartbreaking” news that Trump had been shot during a Pennsylvania campaign rally on July 13, 2024.
“I just wanted to know if she was OK,” she told audience members.
“Grandpa, you are such an inspiration and I love you,” Kai said before wrapping up with a call to “make America great again.”
