Jennie Garth is mourning the loss of former co-star Shannen Doherty.
The “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram Sunday following the news of Doherty’s death.
Garth shared two images from their onscreen performances as Kelly Taylor and Brenda Walsh in the popular ’90s teen drama.
“I am still processing my tremendous grief over the loss of my long time friend Shannen, the woman I have often described as one of the strongest people I have ever known,” she began her caption.

“Our connection was real and honest. We were so often pitted against each other but none of that reflected the truth of our real relationship which was one built on mutual respect and admiration.”
Garth, 52, continued by describing Doherty as “courageous, passionate, determined and very loving and generous.”
