Travis Kelce’s father has been falling for Facebook headlines.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end joked about his dad Ed Kelce‘s reaction to seeing “wild” rumors online about his romance with Taylor Swift.
“He’ll see some wild s–t come across and be like, ‘Hey, what the f–k is this?'” Travis, 34, said on the “Bussin’ With the Boys” podcast Tuesday. “[about] something so f–king out of the blue, like, something about me and Taylor.”

According to the NFL star, Ed will ask, “Hey, you guys OK?” to which Travis replies, “Get the f–k off Facebook, Dad. Are you f–king kidding me?”
He laughed off the exchanges with co-hosts Will Compton and Taylor Lewan, calling the social media platform Ed’s “search engine.”
Moments before, Travis explained that he ddi not need to go to his family members when he felt “down in the dumps” about online chatter because he does not let himself “get to that point” when it comes to haters.
He credited Ed with helping him achieve this mindset.
“Who gives a s–t what Jim Bob or whoever the f–k is on … social media saying,” the “Catching Kelce” alum said. “It is what it is.”
However, Travis noted, “If they’re saying something, look in the mirror and ask yourself, ‘What are you portraying for them to say this type of s–t?’ Either it’s a fair take, an unfair take or just f–king whatever.”
The three-time Super Bowl winner explained that he has a “don’t give a f–k” attitude in his “DNA,” calling it a “Kelce trait.”
Travis has been playing for the NFL since 2013, but he began making major headlines a decade later when reports surfaced that he was dating Swift.
Since the pair went public with their romance in September 2023, Ed has gushed about the pop star on multiple occasions.
Last October, he called Swift “very sweet, very charming [and] very down-to-earth” in a People interview.
“I don’t think she got the diva memo,” he gushed.
“She didn’t get the spoiled musician. She doesn’t know how to pull that off.”
Travis spoke about Swift in Tuesday’s interview, specifically recalling how “grounded” and “self-aware” she was meeting his family and friends at her first Chiefs game.
“She just walked right through the front door,” he said. “There was no talking to security, making sure that she gets to her [seat]. … She really won me over.”
Travis went on to break down his three favorite songs by the Grammy winner: “Blank Space,” “Cruel Summer” and “So High School.”
