Fashion icon Diane Von Furstenberg says watching a new documentary on her life, “Woman in Charge,” was “like being at the gynecologist.”

“I looked like s–t,” the inventor of the “wrap dress” said during a talk after the opening at the Tribeca Festival on Wednesday. “I said I liked wrinkles, but I didn’t realize I had so many.”

The film was attended by Von Furstenberg’s husband Barry Diller, son Prince Alexander von Furstenberg, fest co-founder Jane Rosenthal, model Karlie Kloss, Arianna Huffington and jury member Selma Blair.

Von Furstenberg said the movie is a tribute to her mother, Liliane Nahmias, a Holocaust survivor.

“I did enjoy [the film],” she said during a Q&A with Gayle King. “At the end, it’s really a tribute to my mom… That’s why I had a big life. My mom wanted me to have a big life.”

We’re told festival co-founder Robert De Niro was absent from the screening because he is filming a new Netflix project, “Zero Day.”

This year’s Tribeca line-up also includes Andrew McCarthy’s Brat Pack documentary, “Brats.” McCarthy is set to lead a panel after his premiere that promises “other members of the cast, and surprise guests.”

Late singer and civil rights activist Harry Belafonte also gets the documentary treatment, as does Liza Minnelli, famed songwriter Linda Perry, Luther Vandross, Ani DiFranco, DJ Avicii and Stevie Van Zandt.

Also at the fest, Neil Patrick Harris, Tig Notaro and Mike Birbiglia will appear for a panel on their latest, “Group Therapy.”

Judd Apatow, Matthew Broderick, Kerry Washington, Laverne Cox, and rocker Michael Stipe will all take part in talks during the fest.

And Andy Cohen will be chatting with his pal, Anderson Cooper.

Other movies include Kristen Stewart and Michael Cera’s “Sacramento,” Jenna Ortega’s “Winter Spring Summer or Fall,” Lena Dunham and Stephen Fry’s “Treasure,” Jake Gyllenhaal in “Presumed Innocent,” Lily Gladstone in “Jazzy” and Carrie Coon in “Lake George.”

From June 14 to June 16, the fest will celebrate De Niro with a “De Niro Con” event.
