Kelly Osbourne is crossing her fingers that years of consuming drugs and alcohol will actually prevent her from getting cancer.

“I’m hoping that I’ve embalmed myself so I don’t ever get cancer,” the 39-year-old said on Tuesday’s episode of the “Osbournes Podcast.” “I’m pickled from all the drugs and alcohol, for sure.”

She explained that the disease runs in the family with even her mom, Sharon Osbourne, formally suffering from colorectal cancer in the early 2000s.

“Apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree,” Kelly, 39, added.

However, the “Dancing With the Stars” alum’s brother Jack Osbourne, 38, wasn’t too convinced by her reasoning as he chimed in, “I don’t think it works that way. But I’m no doctor.”

Over the years, Kelly has been open about her past struggles with drugs, revealing her addiction started at 13 years old when she was prescribed Vicodin after tonsillitis surgery.

At the time, the mom of one was dealing with self-esteem issues, including thoughts of “You’re fat, you’re ugly, you’re not good enough, no one likes you,” she explained on “Red Table Talk” in 2021.

Kelly furthered the medication “silenced” the negative self-talk.

“Very quickly, it went from Vicodin to Percocet, from Percocet to … to heroin, eventually, because it was cheaper,” she continued. “I got caught buying it, and then the very next day, my mom put me in rehab.”

The “Fashion Police” alum — who has been in rehab several times over the years — recalled never being able to go anywhere without consuming something.

At one point, Kelly would drink several bottles of alcohol by herself.

In 2017, she decided to give up alcohol but ultimately relapsed four years later before swiftly getting back on the wagon.

“This is something I am going to battle for the rest of my life,” she told “Extra” in April 2021. “It’s never going to be easy.”
