Martin Lawrence is a bad boy for life.
The actor shut down rumors about his health Tuesday after sparking concern among fans at the Los Angeles premiere of his and Will Smith’s latest franchise installment, “Bad Boys: Ride or Die.”
“I’m fine,” Lawrence, 59, told Hot 97’s Ebro Darden. “I’m in God’s hands. I’m blessed. I’m glad to be waking up every day. I’m all good. No need for people to be concerned.”

Last week, a clip showing the “Martin” alum and Smith, 55, riding atop a bus to address the fans attending the event went viral, with some netizens speculating that the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” alum had to guide his “Bad Boys” co-star to the side because he appeared unsteady on his feet.
“I’m healthy as hell,” Lawrence stated Tuesday. “Stop the rumors.”
The “Big Momma’s House” star further explained that he was merely shocked by the amount of fans who turned out for the premiere.
“I was like, ‘Oh, this is rock concert stuff,'” he reflected. “‘What the hell is going on? For a movie?’ I was like, ‘Oh, my goodness.'”
Lawrence has suffered from highly publicized health issues in the past, having been hospitalized in 1996 after police detained him at a Los Angeles intersection for shouting, “Fight the establishment” and discovering a gun in his pocket.
His rep later shared that the comedian had suffered a seizure after failing to take his prescribed medication.
Three years later, Lawrence slipped into a coma brought on by severe heat exhaustion while exercising.
