Chrissy Teigen is documenting her terrifying takeoff.
The model posted a series of Instagram Stories on Monday describing how she found herself “bracing for impact” when the plane she was on went from “a thousand miles an hour” to “a complete stop.”
She explained, “For like three seconds I was … absolutely positive that we were braking because we were going to hit something and we didn’t.”

The “Chrissy’s Court” star, 38, credited the scare to an “erroneous takeoff” — but admitted she didn’t know what that meant exactly.
However, she gushed, “I am so grateful for these pilots and the plane for doing what it was supposed to do.”
The “Bring the Funny” judge, who joked that she became “very religious all of the sudden,” captioned the video with a request for husband John Legend to call her.
“I’m on final destination,” she wrote.
Teigen did not specify which airline she was flying on but did continue to post footage as the aircraft returned to its gate and prepared to take off again.
The former “Lip Sync Battle” host told her followers that she almost experienced her “worst nightmare” of sharing social media snippets from her flight before dying in an accident.
“All my last photos on DailyMail would be, ‘She had beer cheese. That was her last meal,'” Teigen said. “My last words were nearly, ‘Meemaw’s beer cheese.'”
While it is unclear where the cookbook author was headed, she gave a “little week recap” via Instagram hours earlier.
The social media slideshow included sweet snaps of her and Legend’s four children — Luna, 8, Miles, 6, Esti, 1, and Wren, 11 months.
“Troop Beverly Hills celebrated their cookie sales with a lesson in Korean BBQ and coffee filter flower making, Esti fell in love with her Baby Alive, Wren continues to be happy nonstop, wine goggles and big brother Miles,” she wrote. “Also got a cat oh my god.”
Teigen and Legend, 45, started growing their family in 2016, welcoming their youngest child via surrogate last year.
The couple, who have been married since 2013, lost son Jack in 2020 when Teigen was 20 weeks pregnant.
