She’s (almost) 50 and fabulous.
Tyra Banks revealed that she’s keeping things natural ahead of her upcoming 50th birthday in December, telling People on Tuesday that she’s “not against” cosmetic procedures as she gets older.
“I look in the mirror and I don’t feel 50,” the supermodel told the mag. “I think 50 is the new 30s.”
She continued by saying that she’s “not had age plastic surgery stuff,” although the 49-year-old catwalk star doesn’t elaborate on if she’s referring to a facelift or other procedures.
And it appears the former Victoria’s Secret Angel has gone under the knife in the past; Banks previously told People in 2018 that she got a nose job in the early days of her modeling career.
The former “Dancing with the Stars” host — who left the show ahead of the upcoming 2023 season — said she’s “not against it” when it comes to enhancing her appearance as she ages. “I just haven’t had it yet,” she shared.
“Maybe I’ll need a little something, something,” Banks admitted. “But I’m not insecure about it.”
The “America’s Next Top Model” host certainly seems to be embracing her new decade, and although she doesn’t turn 50 until Dec. 4, she’s getting a jump start on testing out her new age.
“I keep saying I’m 50, even though I’m not, as an excuse,” she shared with People. “When people ask me I say, ‘I ain’t doing that — I’m 50.’ Or, ‘I’m just going to tell you what I think, because I’m 50.'”
As for her nose job, the “America’s Next Top Model” alum revealed in 2018 that some of her bones “were growing and itching” and although she “could breathe fine,” she decided to get surgery.
“I admit it! Fake hair, and I did my nose,” Banks quipped. “I feel I have a responsibility to tell the truth.”
As for her milestone year, don’t expect a splashy party from the star. “I just want to go to Disneyland with the family,” she revealed.
