Jessica Simpson’s facing the NYC chill in style.
The “Irresistible” singer, 43, swapped one faux fur coat for another during a night out in the Big Apple Tuesday.
First, Simpson was spotted strolling around the East Village in a fluffy brown floor-length topper layered over a turtleneck crop top, high-waisted leggings and thigh-high Sonora cowboy boots worthy of Daisy Duke.
The “Open Book” author looked ready to paint the town red with her scarlet sequined Chanel flap bag, which perfectly matched the accents on her Western-style shoes.
Later in the evening, she emerged from the trendy Mercer Hotel in Soho wearing a completely different look.
Simpson changed into a black faux fur jacket with feather trim, which she teamed with a black sequined minidress that made the most of her long legs.
A matching hardware-heavy Valentino Rockstud bag and knee-high platform boots finished off her edgy ensemble.
Earlier this week, Simpson showed off her extensive shoe collection with a closet selfie shared on social media.
The designer has a lot to celebrate at the moment. Earlier this month, she shared with fans that she was six years sober.
“I wanted to feel the pain so I could carry it like a badge of honor,” Simpson shared on social media of her alcohol addiction at the time.
“I wanted to live as a leader does and break cycles to advance forward- never looking back with regret and remorse over any choice I have made and would make for the rest of my time here within this beautiful world.”
Simpson shared in her memoir in 2020 that she began turning to the bottle — as well as pills — during her 2007 relationship with John Mayer and after her 2006 divorce from Nick Lachey.
“My anxiety would spike, and I would pour another drink,” she wrote. “It was the start of me relying on alcohol to mask my nerves.”
Simpson quit drinking and embarked on a weight loss journey, eventually shedding more than 100 pounds.
She married Eric Johnson in 2014, and they have three children: Maxwell, 11, Ace, 10, and Birdie, 4.
