She’s still got it.
Meghan McCain “humble bragged” on Instagram about not using filters and needles while “pushing 40.”
McCain shared an Instagram Story Thursday showing off her face up close and personal with a selfie where she wore minimal makeup.
“I’m pushing 40,” the former “View” host explained. “No filter and a needle has never touched my face,” McCain continued.
“Intentional skin care over toxins my friends,” Meghan advised her followers, before adding the hashtag “humblebrag.”
The 38-year-old TV personality is known for speaking her mind, whether she’s offering up skincare advice or feuding with fellow celebrities.
John McCain’s daughter doesn’t just avoid Botox – she’s also not partial to using the diabetes drug to lose weight postpartum, which she explained in her Daily Mail column in February.
“I’m told, ‘Everyone is doing it,’ as if that was ever a compelling case,” McCain wrote. “I hear, ‘Just take the shot,’ as it has become known in shorthand. I was even offered a black market freebie by someone with ‘extra shots at home,’” she added, before explaining she has “refuse[d]” all of the offers.
Despite not partaking in Botox, Meghan still shared plenty of beauty products she does approve of. Back in 2012, the politician’s daughter posted a snap of her makeup kit on Instagram with the caption, “My road makeup kit. I love being a girl.”
Throughout the years, plenty of people on social media have accused Meghan of using Botox. In 2021, one person tweeted a clip from “The View” and wrote, “Meghan McCain acts like a spoiled brat. Maybe too much Botox which has seeped into her brain.”
The same year, someone asked, “What’s going on with Meghan McCain’s face? She looks like she’s had work done. It looks very plasticky. It’s all shiny and absent of expression. It might be only botox, but still, she looked way better before.”
Now, McCain is humble bragging the Botox accusations away.
