The one with the salmon facial.
Jennifer Aniston posed for the cover of The Wall Street Journal Tuesday and admitted she will “try almost anything” to look young — including a skin treatment with an unusual ingredient.
The “Morning Show” actress confessed that an aesthetician suggested a salmon-sperm facial — and she was intrigued. “First of all, I said, ‘Are you serious? How do you get salmon’s sperm?’” Aniston, 54, recalled.
While Aniston did try out the inventive ingredient, she isn’t sure if it was effective.
Salmon sperm has been called the next must-have Korean beauty ingredient and is offered at medical spas, promising to produce more collagen, increase cell turnover and improve pigmentation and inflammation.
The “Friends” star does swear by anti-aging weekly peptide injections (which have been described as “the new foundation of youth”) and said, “I do think that’s the future.”
Aniston doesn’t only inject peptides, she also drinks them.
The “Just Go With It” actress serves as Vital Proteins’ Chief Creative Officer and told the brand her “go-to collagen routine is adding Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides in my morning cup of coffee or smoothie.”
Jen has been open about her anti-aging procedures over the years and previously revealed she tried Botox but didn’t stick with it.
In 2014, Jennifer told InStyle, “I believe in ‘no-tox.’ It absolutely distorts people’s faces and you end up actually having the opposite effect. You look older, in my opinion, when you can’t move and don’t let your natural expressions have their way.”
Despite trying a few fishy ingredients, Aniston is still letting some aspects of aging happen naturally.
The “Murder Mystery” star is embracing her grays, which fans called “refreshing” and “gorgeous.”
We’ll try anything Aniston approves.
