Hi, Ken?
America Ferrera looked like she meant business last night at the 2024 Governors Awards, showing up on the red carpet in sleek black tux.
The menswear-inspired set, which was a custom creation by Moschino and styled by Karla Welch, consisted of a structured jacket with a peak lapel and coordinating pants with a cummerbund.
The look was then made complete with a crisp white button-down featuring black buttons and a sweet black bowtie. She also accessorized with Mejuri’s Lab Grown Diamond Round Studs 0.5 ($498).
As for footwear, Ferrera, 39, wore a pair of black pointed-toe heels, keeping the same color scheme throughout her ensemble.
The “Barbie” actress also opted to keep things somewhat simple when it came to her glam. Ferrera wore her short, dark bob parted on the side, while her makeup consisted of natural shades and dewy skin, letting her natural beauty shine through.
The only pop of color that could be seen? Ferrera’s nails, which were painted bright red.
Fans were loving the masculine look, with one commenting on Welch’s Instagram, “More tuxes pls! A vibe.”
Another said, “Oh! One year ALL the women should wear tuxes to a show!
