Lisa Vanderpump hopes her former friend, Kyle Richards, can work through her marital issues.
In an exclusive interview with Pvnew at BravoCon 2023 Friday, the “Vanderpump Rules” star said it “saddens” her to see the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” favorite and her husband, Mauricio Umansky, enduring a rocky patch in their relationship.
“I know there was a lot of love between them. There really was, and there probably still is,” she hypothesized.
“So I think it saddens me to see anybody that’s been together that long [break up] because marriage is hard.”
“And I hope they can kind of get through this and facilitate some kind of [solution], you know.”
Richards, 54, and Umanksy, 53, walked down the aisle in January 1997 and share three biological daughters: Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15.
Richards also shares her daughter Farrah Brittany, 34, with her first husband, Guraish Aldjufrie.
After denying breakup rumors, the “Buying Beverly Hills” realtor confirmed on Sept. 29 they had split — only to backtrack days later.
“We’re struggling. We’ve been very open about it,” Umansky told Pvnew exclusively on Oct. 4.
“We’re separated [but] we’re not throwing in the towel yet.”
Vanderpump, 63, also spoke to Pvnew at BravoCon about the rumors that Richards has moved on from her estranged husband with country singer Morgan Wade.
“I don’t know if all these rumors about Morgan [are true],” she stated.
“I don’t know unless I catch somebody in the middle of it. I don’t believe [it].”
Over the last few months, the “Halloween Ends” actress and Wade have been seen on an “intimate” coffee date in Paris, showing off their matching tattoos and rings, participating in a 10k charity run and more.
However, Richards has maintained they are just “very, very close” friends.
Meanwhile, Umansky and his “Dancing With the Stars” Season 32 partner, Emma Slater, sparked romance rumors last month when they were spotted holding hands in Los Angeles.
“That’s very hard to see … that hurt my feelings,” Richards admitted on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” last week.
“I just don’t think you hold hands like that [if you’re friends],” she added.
