Bravo officially confirmed on Wednesday the much-rumored news that its popular fan convention,BravoCon, will be skipping this year, but will return to Las Vegas in 2025. The network announced BravoCon’s future dates —Nov. 14-16, 2025 —and that the convention will once again be at the massive event space Caesars Forum. In 2023, BravoCon moved to Las Vegas, having outgrown its New York City venues.
There will, however, be smaller gatherings for fans throughout the year, ones the network is calling “Watch Party by Bravo,” which it describes in the press release as events for “Bravoholics to get up close and personal with their favorite Bravo stars and celebrate their passionate fandom.” Those will take place in New York City and Los Angeles, starting this spring, and will be detailed in the coming weeks.
That part of the announcement advances what Frances Berwick, the chairman of NBCUniversal Entertainment, told PvNew during an interview at last year’s BravoCon, about wanting to plan smaller events throughout the year to capitalize on Bravo fans’ ardor. “We initially did this as a marketing endeavor, but we’re trying to run it as a business,” Berwick said in November.
Skipping a year means that the shows will be refreshed, and the programming for the convention won’t be just be a repeat of 2023’s BravoCon. According to the announcement, last year’s convention was attended by 27,000 fans who came to see more than 160 cast members across the Bravo universe. And those tickets didn’t come cheap: They’d paid up to $1,200, along with other add-ons for VIP experiences. The tickets for BravoCon 2023 sold out immediately.
Along with its panels and nighttime events, Bravo made a number of announcements during last year’s convention, such as premiere dates, cast changes and show renewals. And Tom Sandoval was booed every time he spoke during the “Vanderpump Rules” panel, which fans who’ve watched Season 11 probably feel good about.
Across its social media channels, Bravo posted a video featuring Andy Cohen — the executive producer of the “Real Housewives” franchise, the host of nightly talk show “Watch What Happens Live” and the face of the network — whoadapted Heather Gay’s now-iconic speech from the Season 4 finale from “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.”
“Receipts! Proof! Timeline! Jackpot! BravoCon is returning to Las Vegas in 2025,” followed by a montage of Bravolebs at the 2023 convention.
