Kyle Richards is reaping the mental health benefits of her alcohol-free lifestyle.
“I’ve suffered from anxiety for my entire life,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star exclusively told Pvnew Saturday at BravoCon in Las Vegas.
“So to all of a sudden have my anxiety be so minimized at a time that it should be at its worst. I was really surprised by that. I don’t even take Lexapro anymore!”
Richards — who separated from estranged husband Mauricio Umansky in July — added that she is feeling “really strong” despite currently going through a “really hard time.”
“I stopped drinking and I’m just doing everything I can to be as strong as I can. And it’s working. So I’m grateful,” she added, while speaking to us alongside newbie co-star Annemarie Wiley.
While Richards, 54, gushed over the “clarity” she has gained from cutting out booze, the Bravolebrity emphasized that she is “not an alcoholic,” but rather gave up drinking for “fitness and health reasons.”
As previously reported, Richards began openly speaking about her newfound sobriety and fitness lifestyle following an onslaught of accusations that she had dropped weight through the use of Ozempic.

In January, the Bravo star clarified during an episode of the “Two Ts In A Pod” podcast that she cut out “sugar, carbs and any alcohol” that previous July.
“A lot of people think I’ve been taking Ozempic. To clarify, I’ve never taken Ozempic,” she stated at the time, referring to the Hollywood-loved diabetes-turned-weight-loss drug.
A month after her interview, Richards celebrated seven months of sobriety.
“Truth is I don’t miss it at all. I feel amazing, so don’t see the point [in drinking] right now,” Richards wrote via her Instagram Story after a fan asked her if she misses drinking alcohol.
When celebrating a year of no alcohol in July, Richards shared with fans that she has “never felt better.”
“Alcohol made me feel depressed the next day no matter how fun the night before was,” she explained at the time. “And honestly, life is going to throw us some difficult days. I certainly don’t need to be adding any extra ones to that list.”
