She’s looking ab-solutely fabulous.
Kim Kardashian brought back a Y2K trend when she wore a diamond belly chain to the 74th Annual Parsons Benefit in New York last night, flashing plenty of skin in a custom cobalt blue set from Balmain.
The “Kardashians” star sported a leather crop top and matching maxi skirt to the glitzy gala, with both pieces featuring ruched detail.
Her high-necked top appeared to be molded to her body, with the long skirt created to have a softer appearance while still showing off lots of leg with its sky-high slit.
She added an XIV Karats diamond belly chain to her look, wearing the sparkling piece slung across her midsection.
The Skims founder — who recently admitted to getting Botox in her neck — wore her brunette hair in a long, wavy style, sporting a neutral lip and smokey eyeshadow.
She sported a pair of clear heels with her cobalt look, adding a diamond ankle bracelet to match her belly chain.
Speaking of sparkling ab jewelry, Kardashian’s little sister, Kylie Jenner, wore her own XIV Karats creations in a 2021 Instagram post, sporting two belly chains with dangling initials that spelled out “Kylie Skin.”
Kardashian’s outfit last night served as a fitting tribute to Balmain’s creative director, Olivier Rousteing, who was honored at the Parsons gala for his work in the fashion industry. Cara Delevingne was also on hand to support the designer, sporting a busty blazer with built-in gloves.
Of course, Kardashian is a longtime Balmain fan, having worn the designer’s high-end creations for everything from Paris Fashion Week 2020 to her 2014 bachelorette party.
The glamorous evening — which was held at Cipriani Wall Street — celebrated the talented students attending the Parsons School of Design and also honored Naomi Campbell.
Will we see the return of belly chains this summer? Watch this space.
