Lizzo honored the late Tina Turner with an electrifying performance after the music legend died on Wednesday.

“There wouldn’t be no rock ‘n’ roll without Tina Turner!” she yelled several times during her Phoenix, Ariz., tour stop.

“Today, we lost an icon and I haven’t allowed myself to be sad,” she added. “I haven’t allowed myself to cry. I don’t want to right now because id much rather celebrate the incredible legend Tina Turner is.

“As a black girl in a rock band, I would not exist if it were not for the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll.”

The “about Damn Time” singer, who was dressed in a sparkly green dress that later transformed into a leotard, then went into a rendition of Turner’s hit song “Proud Mary,” complete with the late singer’s signature dance moves.

Lizzo, 35, shared videos of her tribute to Instagram, simply captioning the post, “FOR TINA.”

The four-time Grammy winner’s performance came hours after news surfaced that Turner had passed away at age 83.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Turner,” a spokesperson for the late musician wrote on her Instagram account. “With her music and her boundless passion for life, she enchanted millions of fans around the world and inspired the stars of tomorrow.

“Today we say goodbye to a dear friend who leaves us all her greatest work: her music. All our heartfelt compassion goes out to her family. Tina, we will miss you dearly.”

The “What’s Love Got to Do With It” singer’s rep confirmed to the Daily Mail Thursday that she died from natural causes at her Switzerland home that she shared with her husband, Erwin Bach.

Just two months before her death, Turner admitted that she was in “great danger” due to her longtime battle with kidney disease.

“My kidneys are victims of my not realising [sic] that my high blood pressure should have been treated with conventional medicine,” the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll shared on Instagram back in March.

“I have put myself in great danger by refusing to face the reality that I need daily, lifelong therapy with medication. For far too long I believed that my body was an untouchable and indestructible bastion.”

Tina is survived by her husband and two of her sons, whom she adopted during her tumultuous marriage to Ike Turner.

The “Simply the Best” singer’s eldest son, Raymond Craig — who she shared with Raymond Hill — died by suicide in Los Angeles in 2018.

And in December 2022, Tina’s son Ronnie, with Turner, died due to complications from colon cancer.
