Gisele Bündchen’s flying solo on fashion’s biggest night.
The single supermodel looked as glamorous as ever on the Met Gala 2023 red carpet Monday, dressed in a white gown with a feather cape by Chanel.
Bündchen famously wore the same gown in an editorial with Karl Lagerfeld in 2007.
“It is vintage Chanel,” Bündchen told Vogue on the red carpet. “I wore this dress in 2006 or 2007 in an editorial with him. I wore the same dress.
“So when I was picking a dress I was like, ‘Which dress is going to be the dress?’ And I thought, ‘This is the one.’”
The model was photographed spinning around on the red carpet and spreading her feathered frock as she made her first Met Gala appearance since her split from Tom Brady.
Bündchen and her ex-husband, who announced their divorce in 2022 after 13 years of marriage, were notably fixtures at Vogue’s annual ball.
They attended the Met Gala almost every year together beginning in 2008, when the Brazilian beauty smoldered in a pink cutout Gucci gown.
Another highlight for the couple at the Met came in 2018, when they coordinated in Versace ensembles — Bündchen in a slinky yellow silk gown, Brady in a sharp black tux with a gold-embroidered lapel.
Their last joint appearance at the prestigious event was in 2019, when the catwalker walked the carpet in a metallic pink pleated Dior dress and the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback picked a maroon velvet Tom Ford tuxedo.
Brady, who retired from football “for good” earlier this year, has been lying relatively low since his breakup with Bündchen, save for posting a particularly viral thirst trap in February.
His ex, on the other hand, has become “supercharged” about her modeling career since the split, having posed for campaigns for Louis Vuitton and Arezzo and covered both Vogue Italia and Vanity Fair.
She also took Rio Carnival by storm in February, dressed in a perfect re-creation of the ab-baring outfit she wore at the same festive event in 2004.
They don’t call her “The Body” for nothing.
