Blood isn’t always thicker than water.
Tom Sandoval revealed on his new podcast that his brother, Brian Sandoval, tried to distance himself from the embattled “Vanderpump Rules” star following the aftermath of his scandalous affair with Raquel Leviss.
“My brother, like, told me, he’s like, ‘Tom, you need to delete photos of us Instagram,'” Tom, 41, shared in Thursday’s episode of “Everybody Loves Tom.”
His guest, Jerry O’Connell, then asked for clarification, “Your actual blood?” to which the Bravolebrity responded, “My actual blood brother said that to me.”
It appears Tom yielded to Brian’s request, as there seemingly aren’t any photos of the brothers on the reality star’s Instagram profile.
The siblings’ relationship appeared to be much stronger prior to Tom cheating on this longtime girlfriend, Ariana Madix, over the course of this past year.
In May 2021, Tom shared a post on Facebook that read, “Happy National Brother’s Day! Love You Brian! …excuse me, Dr. Brian Sandoval” alongside a photo of the two in suits.
However, O’Connell, 49, expressed that he can relate to why Brian may feel “anxious” associating with Tom, noting that he had his own reservations about appearing on the podcast.
“My anxieties in coming on as a guest is that I am somehow approving, Tom, of some of your behavior in the past,” the “Talk” co-host said. “It’s scary.”
Tom then pushed back, saying, “I don’t think you’re condoning my behavior by showing up here.”
Aside from Brian, several of the TomTom co-owner’s other family members reportedly have not hidden their disapproval of his affair with Leviss.
A source told TMZ in April that Tom tried to bring his then-lover, 29, to his hometown of St. Louis in late December 2022, but his relatives had “no interest” in meeting her.
The insider added that close friends of the Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras frontman thought it was “inappropriate” for him to showcase his secret love interest around town.
However, one person who seemingly has remained in Tom’s corner is his mother, Terri Green.
A source told TMZ in April that the matriarch was well aware of her son’s indiscretions and once hosted him and Leviss at her house in St. Louis during a storm warning.
“Everybody Loves Tom” releases new episodes every Wednesday.
