Savannah Chrisley slammed Southwest Airlines for deeming her an “unruly passenger” after getting into an argument with one of their employees.
The “Chrisley Knows Best” alum says she was headed from New York back home to Tennessee on Thursday when the airline attendant “threw her off the flight” for refusing to check her carry-on bag.
“Alright guys, so I officially know why everyone hates Southwest so much. I mean absolutely hates it — the worst thing in the entire world,” the 25-year-old said in a video shared to her Instagram Stories, zooming in on a man at her gate.
“This man right here … um, awful. I went to board my flight to get on and he told me that I had to check my bag. I was like, ‘Okay, if you wouldn’t mind, I’m gonna take my bag on the flight, see if I can’t make it fit and if not, I’ll check it.'”
However, the employee shot her down once again, allegedly calling Chrisley an “unruly passenger” for pushing back.
Soon after, a pilot came over to diffuse the situation, allegedly telling the attendant to “calm down” and “that he was going to find a place” for her bag on board.
“The Southwest attendant literally looked at the pilot — the man who is flying our plane and is responsible for our safety, the most important person in the airline — and said, ‘Stay out of it … ma’am you’re not flying on this flight.'”
Although the reality TV star admitted to calling the attendant an “a—hole,” she said she tried to change his mind by explaining she had to get back to her 10-year-old niece Chloe, whom she recently got full custody of.
“And well, the Southwest attendant said, ‘I don’t care,'” she continued.
“So Southwest, you’re awful but not going to lie … your pilot was kinda hot.”
Later, Chrisley hopped back on her Story to confess some other details from the argument.
“In case another story comes out, after he told me he didn’t care if I got home to my 10-year-old … I told him that I hope he finds a better purpose for his life. Maybe I shouldn’t have said it, but the devil came over me and Jesus did not come out.”
However, Chrisley’s airport saga did not end there.
While waiting around for another flight, she became fixated on the “real good-looking pilot.”
After opening up a Q&A box for her Instagram followers, one fan suggested she “find the hot pilot,” which she seemed pretty keen on.
The reality star — whose parents Todd and Julie Chrisley are currently behind bars for fraud and tax evasion — ended up getting a row all to herself on her final flight home and landed at around 2 a.m.
Southwest Airlines did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
