Cameron Diaz returned to the set of “Back in Action” Monday to resume filming — with Jamie Foxx’s body double.
Photos show the “Charlie’s Angels” star looking casual in sweats, glasses and wavy hair as she hugged co-star McKenna Roberts.
In other photos, Diaz, 50, Roberts and the body double walked through what appeared to be a nightclub named The Level and exited with concerned looks on their faces.
Production has been using a body double for Foxx, 55, since he was hospitalized for an undisclosed “medical complication” last week.
His daughter and “Beat Shazam” co-host, Corinne Foxx, said in a social media statement that he was on the mend.
“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” she wrote.
However, Jamie’s condition was said to be “serious enough” that his family flew in from out of town.
People reported over the weekend that the Oscar winner was “steadily improving.” Production on the Netflix action flick had shut down temporarily last Wednesday in light of his health scare.
As of Monday, however, the “Django Unchained” actor remained in the hospital to get to the bottom of his mysterious malady.
“They are running tests,” a source told People.
Reps for Jamie haven’t returned Pvnew’s repeated requests for comment.
Just one day before the “Horrible Bosses” actor was hospitalized, he appeared happy and healthy on the set of “Back in Action.”
Jamie was photographed in a red Nike jacket over a black T-shirt and pants on a soccer field with a group of girls in soccer uniforms as cameras rolled.
Prior to his illness, the “Ray” star reportedly had a meltdown on set, causing Diaz to consider quitting acting again.
