It pays to have friends in high places.

Influencer Candice Miller is not having to give up the lavish life just yet – even though her late husband, Brandon Miller, reportedly left behind a whopping $34 million debt with only $8,000 in the bank.

The former “Mama & Tata” blogger moved into a condo at the Continuum South Beach, per a bond petition obtained by the Real Deal last week.

Property records reportedly show that a trust tied to Alexander von Fürstenberg, the son of designer Diane von Fürstenberg and Prince Egon von Fürstenberg, paid $10 million for the condo in 2023.

The property boasts three bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms and has oceanfront views.

Alexander’s wife, Alison von Fürstenberg, has reportedly had a longstanding friendship with Candice.

According to the Chalkboard Magazine, a lifestyle publication, Alison and Alex hosted a beautiful luncheon at their Beverly Hills, Calif., home for the Los Angeles launch of the “Mama & Tata” blog in 2017.

Pvnew learned in August that Candice’s move to Magic City was made possible with “financial” help from loved ones, with a source saying she had “supportive friends and family who have all stood by her.”

We also broke the news that month that Candice was leaving New York and revealed why she had her sights set on Florida.

“She’s over in New York,” an insider told us at the time. “She’s moving to Miami before school starts and has enrolled her kids in a Miami school.”

In August, the socialite listed her Hamptons mansion, which has seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms and two half bathrooms, for $15,495,000 million, further signifying she was ready to start a new chapter.

Candice shared two daughters with Brandon, who tragically died by suicide at age 43 on July 3.

The real estate businessman was in dire financial straits leading up to his death.

He was being sued for more than $100,000 for luxury furniture and $50,000 for boat-related fees, and owed millions to friends who had allegedly lent him funds in order to stay afloat.

One former associate told the New York Times in an exposé published last month that Brandon borrowed $1 million from him for a development project in Brooklyn, NY, that another developer had actually bought.

The deal gone wrong ended the pair’s longstanding friendship, and the unnamed pal told the Times that he has been left “devastated” by both their fallout and Brandon’s death.

Candice spoke out for the first time on Brandon’s passing in the piece, sharing she was “devastated.”

A family spokesperson told the newspaper, “Candice is devastated by the loss of her soul mate, and her two young daughters’ lives are forever impacted by the loss of their beloved daddy.”
