Social media users flooded the comments section of the post, with many slamming Payne for his remark.
“‘for once’ is actually insane…” one fan wrote.
“Girl blink twice if u need help,” another told Cassidy.
“GIRL RUN FAST,” a third follower warned.
“Liam you have a song called Strip That Down, make up your mind,” one more netizen pointed out, referencing Payne’s 2017 solo hit.
The clip also went viral on X, where a fan reposted it and amassed more than 5 million views by Wednesday.
