Cardi B revealed that a recent “freak accident” almost resulted in a miscarriage.
The rapper — who is pregnant with her and estranged husband Offset’s third child together — recounted the scary ordeal to her followers via X Spaces earlier this week.
“I had a f–king freak accident,” she said. “That’s how I have to explain it because I don’t know how something — well, it wasn’t little, I actually heard it.”
Cardi, 31, shared that whatever happened “doesn’t really happen often,” so she was surprised when it “became something that is so big.”

She explained that she was “literally paralyzed” for a period of time.
“And that little thing almost cost me my little one to come, but it didn’t,” she noted.
“Yesterday I was feeling good ’cause I came home, but I came home high as a kite. Today I woke up sober, honey. I’m dying. Like, I’m dying. I swear to God. If I don’t feel good in four hours, I’m going to the hospital, and I don’t give a f–k.”
The musician — who is also mom to daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 2 — admitted that she wasn’t afraid to “exaggerate” her pain to “get more morphine.”
“Morphine me down. I don’t give a damn!” she quipped with a laugh before taking on a more serious tone and acknowledging, “This is probably why bitches be getting addicted to drugs and s–t.”
Cardi confessed that when she was receiving morphine intravenously, she began “timing it every f–king four hours.”
She did not divulge more details about her diagnosis or recovery, and her reps did not immediately respond to Pvnew’s request for comment.
Hours after we revealed last week that Cardi wants out of her and Offset’s seven-year marriage, she announced she’s expecting.
“With every ending comes a new beginning!” she wrote in part alongside two Instagram photos showing her cradling her exposed baby bump.
The Grammy winner has confirmed that the Migos member, 32, is the father, though she insists she doesn’t want child support from him.
