The “Waiting for Tonight” singer shared a casual selfie Monday in which she can be seen lounging comfortably in a chair while wearing a cozy sweatshirt and going makeup-free with a closed-mouth smile.
After sharing the image to her Instagram grid, Lopez, 55, reposted it on her Story and added Charli XCX’s viral “Apple” song from her “Brat” album as the background music.

Charli, 31, released her sixth album in June to incredible fanfare, with her most devoted fans dubbing this season a “Brat” summer. The trend reached unprecedented levels when the English singer called presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris a “brat.”
The vice president’s stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff, celebrated Charli’s declaration by responding, “@charli_xcx gets it.”
The “360” artist previously explained that “brat” refers to a girl “who is a little messy and likes to party and maybe says some dumb things sometimes.
“Who feels herself but maybe also has a breakdown,” she added in a TikTok video. “But kind of like parties through it, is very honest, very blunt. A little bit volatile. Like does dumb things.”
Lopez’s “Brat” summer likely began when it became clear in May that her and Ben Affleck’s two-year marriage was headed toward its demise.
The Oscar winner, who has been living in a rental property for the past couple of months, recently planted roots by reportedly purchasing a $20.5 million estate in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles — without Lopez.
The “Selena” star, meanwhile, has spent the majority of the summer in the Hamptons, where she celebrated her 55th birthday with a lavish, “Bridgerton”-themed bash earlier this month.
Affleck, 51, was nowhere in sight for her celebration — or their wedding anniversary.
