Aniston, 55, was seen walking down the steps while taking a phone call that quickly took an emotional turn as cameras rolled for the Apple TV+ drama series.
The Emmy winner seemed stressed while holding her cellphone to her ear.
She looked up to the sky while crying at one point and later placed her hand over her face while her eyes welled up with tears.
It is unclear which character she was on the phone with during the shoot.
Finally, Aniston took a moment to soak in the evidently upsetting news by sitting down on the stairs and continuing to cry.
The Golden Globe winner’s emotional display came just one day after she filmed a “Morning Show” scene in which someone threw a bucket of fake oil on her.
She was photographed walking through a staged protest Sunday when an attendee doused her with the black liquid.
Aniston acted both shocked and upset as she attempted to wipe herself off and shield her phone.
Her character’s business-casual look, which included a white blouse, was ruined by the oil.
The “Murder Mystery” actress stars in the hit streaming show alongside Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass and Nestor Carbonell, among others.
