Don’t mess with Team USA gymnastics.
Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera secured the gold medal in the women’s gymnastics team all-around on Tuesday — and revealed their statement-making team nickname soon after.
During a press conference, two-time Olympic champion Aly Raisman asked Biles what the squad’s “team name” was, prompting an awkward pause from the squad.
“Don’t say it, don’t say it” the group could be heard whispering, before Biles said, “I’m not going to say it.”

Although Biles initially shared the acronym — “F.A.A.F.O.” — she eventually spilled its true meaning.
“F—k around and find out,” Biles admitted as the crowd laughed.
The women didn’t share any additional insight about how they landed on the bold moniker.
In past Olympics, USA gymnastics teams have gone by nicknames like “the Fierce Five,” the “Final Five” or the “Fighting Four.”
Last month, the group told “Today” they had yet to land on a nickname, turning down suggestions such as the “Phenomenal Five” and the “Fearless Five.”
“I feel like it has to be a little bit more younger, hip,” Biles said at the time. “Ask the TikTokers. They’ll think of something.”
However, this year’s brazen choice seemed to be a great fit for the tenacious group, who left it all out on the floor Tuesday.
The Americans went into the floor routines with a lead and Biles sealed the deal with a score of 14.666 despite nursing a calf injury.
Team USA won the gold by 5.802 points, with Italy claiming the silver medal and Brazil taking home the bronze.
With the win, Biles became the most decorated Team USA Olympic gymnast in history with eight medals.
Despite the astonishing accomplishment, internet trolls somehow still found something to critique.
Before the competition on Tuesday, Biles asked fans to stop commenting on her hair, which became a hot topic on social media.
“don’t come for me about my hair. IT WAS DONE but bus has NO AC & it’s like 9,0000 degrees,” she captioned a video showing herself using a battery-operated fan on the “45-minute” bus ride.
