Lady Gaga calls Michael Polansky her ‘fiancé’ at Olympics months after sparking engagement rumors with huge diamond
“The couple shared the happy news with family and close friends right away but wanted to keep the engagement private otherwise,” a source told People, adding that they are planning their wedding.
“Everyone’s excited about them getting married,” the source continued, noting that the Grammy and Oscar winner is “the happiest with Michael.”
According to the insider, the entrepreneur and investor is “excited and supportive of her career. He can’t stand being in the spotlight but lets her shine.”
Polansky — whose identity Pvnew revealed in February 2020 — “has his own business priorities that she’s supportive of,” the insider told People, calling the duo “great together.”
Gaga and Polansky are preparing for more than just their big day, as they would reportedly “love to have a family.”
Her reps did not immediately respond to Pvnew’s request for comment.
On Sunday, the singer introduced the Harvard University graduate as her “fiancé” during an interaction with France’s Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at an Olympic swimming competition.
“This is my fiancé, Michael,” she told the politician, who shook Polansky’s hand and went on to gush over Gaga’s “stunning” and “breathtaking” performance during last Friday’s opening ceremony.
The “A Star Is Born” star and her beau first sparked engagement rumors in April when she was snapped wearing a massive diamond on her left ring finger.
The twosome was first linked in 2019, and though they have kept their romance mostly private, he has accompanied her to several awards shows over the years.
In a rare statement about her love life, Gaga told the Hollywood Reporter in November 2021, “My dogs and the man that I love are my whole life.”
