Bill and Giuliana Rancic are beginning to instill some work ethic in their son, Duke.
The entrepreneur tells Pvnew exclusively that the longtime couple have the 11-year-old helping out at their portfolio of restaurants in Chicago so he can learn to let his “actions speak louder than words.”
“He’s a big guy. He’s really loving, and he’s starting to work at the restaurants a little bit here and there,” Bill tells us. “So we’re putting him to work, so he’s having a great time.”

The “Apprentice” Season 1 winner, 53, also shares that he is trying to teach his son what he has dubbed “practical execution,” which is when he encourages people to actually follow through with their ideas instead of merely talking about them.
“So many people talk a great game. They’re going to write this book, they’re going to climb this mountain, they’re going to make $1 million doing this, but 99 percent of them don’t do it,” he explains.
“It’s just talk. So, you know, I tell my son, ‘Put your head down, keep your mouth shut and let your actions speak louder than your words.’ That’s in everything — in sports, in school, everything.”
The real estate investor plans to share his business insights on his new podcast, “Dollar Bill with Bill Rancic,” in which he will guide viewers in a way even “my son can understand” while also learning from his guests, who have included Howie Mandel.
“We’re taking the journey with a lot of people. We’re learning their stories. We’re learning from their successes, but we’re also learning … from other people’s failures,” Bill says.
“If I can help other people prevent themselves from making a mistake by watching ‘Dollar Bill,’ then mission accomplished. You know what I mean? I think that’s really important.”
