Jennifer Lopez channeled Queen Charlotte in an opulent bespoke gold Victorian-style gown for her “Bridgerton”-themed 55th birthday party in the Hamptons on Saturday.
The “On The Floor” singer wore a custom couture corseted gown with a hoop skirt and vintage brocade that was “crafted by 40 artisans over 3,490 hours,” fashion designer Manish Malhotra shared in an Instagram post on Thursday.
“The corset and Victorian skirt features a floral motif [molded] by hand from sequins and over half a million crystals,” the designer — who recently created looks for billionaire heir Anant Ambani’s wedding earlier this month — shared along with photos of the stunning garment.

He added, “Petal and ring-shaped metal sequins were especially treated to preserve their hue to craft this ensemble, a celebration of intricate artistry and Indian craftsmanship.”
Malhotra called it “an honor” to dress the “iconic” pop star for her milestone birthday celebration.
The “Marry Me” actress completed her baroque-inspired ensemble with towering gold platform heels and wore her hair in an intricate updo topped with a tiara.
Lopez kept her jewelry relatively simple with a gold heart pendant on a chain necklace, enormous diamond stud earrings and pearl bracelets partly concealed beneath her sheer white gloves.
Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn styled Lopez while hairstylist Jesus Guerrero and makeup artist Scott Barnes handled her glam.
“Dearest Gentle Reader…” she quoted the Netflix show in the caption of her post, adding, “And a splendid evening was had by all.”
Lopez was seated on a throne during the fête and treated her guests to a song performance.
She was also presented with a five-tier birthday cake and watched a string quartet play as performers put on an authentic Victorian-style dance.
