Eva Amurri is in Olivia Culpo’s corner.
After both of the recent brides sparked online backlash with their wedding gowns, Amurri blogged about why she believes women “are f—ked” and “can’t win” no matter how they choose to dress.
Susan Sarandon’s daughter, 39, began Wednesday’s post by explaining her reaction to “cruel comments” surrounding the “sexy” strapless gown she wore while marrying chef Ian Hock in June.

Eva Amurri doubles down on defending wedding dress cleavage: Size 32F ‘minding their business’
“I felt hot tears spring to my eyes in a way that brought me right back to middle school,” Amurri recalled. “Here were people … spending time and energy typing something that they hoped would bring me one thing and one thing only: Shame. And for a second, it worked.”
However, the actress eventually brushed off the “unsettling … aggression from strangers” — especially when she saw how Culpo’s “modest” dress was also slammed on social media.
The “Culpo Sisters” star wed NFL player Christian McCaffrey in Rhode Island on the same day Amurri tied the knot in Connecticut.
Culpo, 32, told Vogue that she didn’t want her dress to “exude sex in any way,” with Instagram trolls comparing the look to a “nun” and a “milkmaid.”
Amurri, however, praised the former pageant queen’s “confidence.”
She gushed, “I wasn’t [looking at] how right or wrong her dress would be for ME, I was seeing a woman who was stepping gracefully and with power into the next chapter of her life — and who was doing it on her own terms, on HER DAY.”
Amurri asked her readers “what society has come to” when women can “neither be sexy elegant nor modestly elegant” while walking down the aisle.
“Two women got married on the same day clothed vastly differently, and neither was right. Neither was good enough” she wrote, calling this a “tale as old as time.”
Amurri previously defended her bustier-style gown by Kim Kassas Couture in an Instagram Story meme about her 32F breasts “minding their business.”
As for Culpo, she called a hater blasting her Dolce & Gabbana dress a “bizarre human” — and also clapped back at criticism of her makeup.
McCaffrey, 28, came to her defense as well when an “evil” influencer claimed his wife’s dress lacked “personality.”
Former Bachelor Nick Viall’s partner, Natalie Joy, similarly caused controversy with a custom, cleavage-baring wedding dress in April.
The 25-year-old bride hit back in an Instagram Story, pointing out that her “massive t-ts … got bigger” throughout the reception because she breastfeeds daughter River.
“Some of yall are actually being ridiculous with these comments,” she wrote. “i was surrounded by people that i consider family and literal family. nobody made it weird so yall don’t make it weird.”
While Amurri did not mention Joy’s clapback on her blog, she summed up the scandal in her post’s conclusion, writing, “It is impossible to be a woman.”
