Ernie Hudson is showing fans how he stays fit at 78.
The “Ghostbusters” star recently joined celebrity trainer Tony Horton for his “Power Up” YouTube series, where the fitness guru led the actor through a grueling core workout.
Although Hudson went viral in April for his toned physique, he admitted that he’s trying to keep his stomach — which he calls “Mr. Jiggles” — “at bay.”
Horton showed Hudson a series of different exercises that could help him reach that goal — such as bicycle crunches, butterfly kicks and different plank variations.

Not only is the “Miss Congeniality” star looking better than ever in his late 70s, but he is also busier than ever.
Hudson agreed with Horton that staying in good shape has contributed to the longevity of his career. However, he said it’s not something that he worries about and instead focuses on making sure his health is never working “against” him.
“So I don’t spend a lot of time worrying about that, I just make sure that when I need to do something, I’m able to do it,” he explained.
Hudson also said that his grandma always used to tell him not to “worry about being brilliant” and instead focus on not “being stupid.”
“We know what we need to do and when we don’t do it that’s kinda stupid,” he quipped.
“So even though I may not be working now, I’m gonna be working,” he continued. “And in that situation, I might be called upon to do certain things and I have to be ready to do it.”
Hudson made headlines earlier this year for his shockingly ripped physique after showing up to a photo call for “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” in a tight black T-shirt and jeans.
His simple — but very flattering — outfit quickly made the rounds online, with fans marveling at his youthful appearance.
“Sweet baby Jesus, I’m lusting after someone’s Grandpappy,” one user posted, as a second added, “I pray I look half as good as Ernie Hudson at 80. Lift weights, kids.”
“Ernie Hudson at 78 probably has less back pain than I do,” a third joked.
Hudson later told Men’s Health he was a “little embarrassed” about the situation and had to ditch his jacket because it had “a smudge on it.”
“I wasn’t flexing or anything, I didn’t really think about it,” he explained. “But it’s nice to be noticed. It’s flattering in a lot of ways.”
As for how he achieved his impressive physique, the actor said he gets in lots of walking and works out three times a week — one strength training session, one pilates class and one day working on coordination and balance.
When it comes to his diet, Hudson rarely eats anything before noon or after 7 p.m. and hasn’t had alcohol in years.
“I just want to live as full and complete a life as I can, to enjoy the time I have, to live a good life, and be an example of what God can do,” he said.
