New season, new ‘do.
Joe Burrow shocked the internet Tuesday as he showed up to the first day of Cincinnati Bengals training camp with a platinum blond buzzcut.
The hunky quarterback, 27, seemingly chopped off his medium-length, darker tresses last week in preparation for the new season before bleaching his head.
His drastic new look quickly went viral online, with some fans mourning the loss of his luscious locks while others took a liking to the edgy change.
The NFL star also drew several comparisons to Eminem, WWE star Cody Rhodes and even Ryan Gosling’s Ken from “Barbie.”
“Joe Burrow pulling up to training camp like the real slim shady has ruined my day,” one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
“joe burrow learning what all men must learn – it doesn’t matter how good looking you are, your hair can make or break you,” another jokingly added.
“He looks so hot, and I will not stand for Joe Burrow slander,” a third user defended against the critics.
Meanwhile, a fourth person pointed out that the last time Burrow rocked a bleached ‘do — when he was in high school — he was nearly “unstoppable.”
“i hope everyone in the nfl is afraid of buzzcut burrow season,” someone else agreed.
Burrow has recently been taking more fashion risks since entering the league in 2020, even starting his modeling career as he walked the runway in the Vogue World: Paris 2024 fashion show last month.
The former LSU star made female NFL fans swoon when he stepped onto the runway wearing a black Peter Do suit with satin lapels and an open back — with nothing underneath.
During an interview with Vogue, Burrow explained that he has “always loved clothes but never really understood the industry.”
“I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and grow as a person, [and] I think walking in the show is a great way to do that,” Burrow said.
“I think the crossover between fashion and sport is going to continue to grow,” the athlete, whose pre-game ‘fits are often a hot topic of conversation, added.
Burrow was joined on the runway by his equally fashionable former teammate, Justin Jefferson.
The Minnesota Vikings star told the outlet it was an “honor” to be included in the star-studded event alongside his friend.
