“16 & Pregnant” alum Autumn Crittendon, who appeared on Season 5 of the MTV series, has died.
She was 27 and leaves behind three young children.
A rep from the Henrico County Police Department in Virginia told Pvnew in a statement Monday that she died at home after being found “unresponsive” on Saturday afternoon.
We’re told paramedics “attempted life-saving measures” but that “they were not effective.”

Crittendon, whose legal last name was Oxley, “was pronounced dead at the scene,” we’re told.
We’re told the police department is “currently classifying this incident as a death investigation” and that “detectives are working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner on this case to determine the exact cause and manner of death.”
TMZ reported that Oxley’s stepfather was the one who found her unresponsive in her bedroom at the home she lived in with him, her mom and her kids.
Sources told the outlet that the reality star had been sick and complaining of heartburn. She also reportedly had diabetes and kidney issues.
Per the outlet, her family is working with law enforcement on the investigation.
Meanwhile, Oxley’s sister Misty Crittendon broke the news of her passing in a since-deleted Facebook post Sunday, according to Starcasm.
“You were robbed of your life at such a tender age, you left before anyone could tell you goodbye.. how much we love you.. how amazing you are and how proud we are of you for staying sober through some of the toughest parts of your life, how far you’ve came from where you were, how thankful we are to have had all these years with you, how proud of you we are as a mother, how grateful we are for the 3 tiny parts of your heart that are still walking this earth,” Crittendon wrote in part.
She went on to say, “Half of me died with you yesterday and I honestly don’t know how I’m ever gonna truly recover from this. … Pulling up seeing all the vehicles, an empty ambulance.. and jumping out of the truck as soon as I could begging the paramedics and cops to tell me you were okay and they were just working to keep you alive in there.. But my worst fear was confirmed and I collapsed in the road.”
Per Starcasm, Crittendon shared a second since-deleted post in which she called out a man who was allegedly linked to Oxley.
The outlet reported that the unnamed man’s Facebook page indicated that he married Oxley in October 2020; however, he is reportedly “single,” as was she before her death.
“YOU robbed my babies of their mother. YOU robbed my mother of her baby. YOU caused a mother and father to bury their youngest child. YOU robbed my child of his other mother. YOU robbed me of my only f–king friend,” Crittendon reportedly wrote.
Pvnew can confirm that she changed her profile picture late Sunday night and included the hashtags #JusticeforAutumn and #CrittendonStrong.
Oxley welcomed son Drake, 10, with his father, Dustin Franklin, in December 2013. She went on to have another boy and a girl, who are almost 5 and almost 2, respectively.
