Andrew Garfield’s “witch” girlfriend, Kate Tomas, denied using “magic to seduce” the actor.
Tomas, who is a “professional witch” to the stars and teaches a seduction masterclass, revealed on her podcast, “The Friday Emails,” last month that she initially removed her class from purchase because of the “horrific accusations that were leveled at me that I’d used magic to seduce” the “Amazing Spider-Man” star.
However, she told the Times in a new interview that seduction is “not about magic spells or manipulation.”
“It has got nothing to do with how perfect their teeth are — thank you, Reddit — or whether they conform to conventional standards of beauty,” she added.
“People that are really attractive are full of charisma because they are authentically themselves and confidently anchored in that.”
Tomas, 42, told the outlet, “Magic takes time. It can’t happen overnight.”

In that same interview, Tomas blasted the “misogynistic” reaction to her romance with Garfield, 40.
“It’s frustrating that no matter how accomplished or impactful a woman is, it’s always going to be more interesting if they are in a relationship with a man,” she said.
“I don’t want to sit under anybody’s shadow.”
Tomas, who has been divorced four times, said it’s been difficult dealing with the public scrutiny surrounding her looks.
“F–king hell, nothing could prepare me for having literally thousands of women telling me I’m ugly, I’m unattractive, I’m less than in every conceivable way,” she shared.
Tomas and Garfield were first romantically linked in March when they were seen holding hands while on a double date with musician Phoebe Bridgers and comedian Bo Burnham in Malibu.
The “Under the Banner of Heaven” actor and the self-proclaimed “spiritual mentor” packed on the PDA during the outing, sharing several hugs with one another while dining at Zinqué restaurant.
A source told Us Weekly at the time that things were “fairly new” between the couple but Garfield “appreciates the fact that Kate is very different from other women he’s dated.”
The insider added, “He thinks she has a great sense of humor and she’s easy to talk to.”
The Oscar nominee previously dated model Alyssa Miller, Emma Stone and Rita Ora.
