“That’s my man. He is amazing,” Brittney, 33, told the outlet. “They said as soon as you see them, everything that you thought mattered just goes out the window. That’s literally what happened.”
The basketball player will soon be traveling overseas to represent Team USA for the third time during the 2024 Paris Olympics, so Brittney (who’s choosing to go by “Pops” with the baby) will be spending some time away from the her newborn son.
“It kind of sucks because I have to leave, but at the same time, he will understand,” Griner shared.
Brittney also explained how becoming a parent has changed her life — or rather, her phone.
“My whole phone has turned into him now,” she said.
The pair revealed they were expecting in April with an Instagram post showing off an ultrasound picture as they locked hands showing off their matching tattoos.
