A sliding door caused the gruesome finger injury that Kim Kardashian claimed was “more painful than childbirth.”
In Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians,” the Skims co-founder told a producer who asked about her finger bandages that there had been a mishap with the “big sliding door” to her bathroom.
Kardashian explained that since there is “no latch” on the door, she typically stops it with her hand.
“I pulled it really hard, and then Saint ran in with chips,” she said, referring to the 8-year-old son she shares with her ex-husband Kanye West.
“I’m like, ‘It’s 8:30 at night, no chips!’” she added.
While the mom of four, 43, was distracted by her son, she said the door “went ‘boom,’ and I was like, ‘Ugh.’
“I literally looked at my hand and I fell to the ground,” she said. “I just grabbed the table and got on my knees because I just saw all this blood. And it was my bone sticking out a little bit.”

A “warning” image then flashed across the screen before Kardashian’s injuries were shown.
When the Skkn creator removed her bandages, a piece of bone could be seen sticking out of the top of her middle finger.
Kardashian said the pain was “horrible” and her “whole body” went “in shock.”
“It was more painful than childbirth,” she recounted.
After she consulted medical help from a plastic surgeon, the doctor told her that the “tip broke off” and said it was a possibility her nail would “never grow back.”
Kardashian then joked that she would “invent a nail implant.”
New episodes of “The Kardashians” premiere Thursdays at 12 a.m. ET on Hulu.
