Like mother, like son.
Selma Blair opened up to Us Weekly about her life lately in this week’s issue, including her quirky style and how she shares it with her 12-year-old son, Arthur Saint Bleick.
The “Cruel Intentions” star, 52 — who covers the mag in a stunning black hooded dress — said she was “all over the place” when it comes to fashion, but one thing she loves to do is swap clothing with her son.

“I love a little vintage Chanel jacket with denim shorts and a pair of my son’s sneakers. I love nothing more than to look like a f–ked-up debutante,” Blair told the publication.
When asked if she actually swapped clothing with the tween — whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Jason Bleick — the star replied, “Yes! There was a point when I was buying a lot of Balenciaga because he wanted it.”
The actress is a big Balenciaga fan herself, having posted a picture of herself with a new bob cut and slouchy black purse on Instagram Tuesday and writing, “@balenciaga I’m so in love with your bags. Truly . ♥️.”
It seems the tween has inherited his mom’s love of fashion, and Blair said she looks at style as “that other place you could go and put on someone else’s perspective as armor,” noting that she had a similar view of acting.
“We have a chance to make ourselves over every day,” she added.
When it comes to beauty, Blair — who has been battling multiple sclerosis since 2018 — said her disease has changed her perspective on aging.
“I’ve had 100 Botox injections in my back to strengthen muscles, and that’s made me not bother with getting Botox in my face,” she revealed.
“When you have to deal with so much for your health you forget about what you look like,” the “Legally Blonde” star continued.
That being said, Blair — who recently hit the red carpet with her service dog, Scout — never fails to make an impression with her high-fashion looks, whether it’s a structured suit or a chic dress embroidered with the names of disability advocates.
As for her stunning appearance, the Sweetest Thing” star said it was written in the stars.
“My horoscope last year said I would turn beautiful this year. I’m really shocked and pleased,” she told Us Weekly.
“I realize what I have to do to take care of myself more now,” Blair shared. “I also accept all the things that come with the physical parts of me that have changed, and that was a huge beauty boost.”
